Can I use the BlueParrott C300-XT with my smartphone and tablet?
Yes, this headset is uses Bluetooth connectivity and can be paired to any compatible Bluetooth® device.
How long does the battery last?
The battery provided up to 10 hours of talk-time. Low battery is indicated on the product when the MFB (multi-function button) flashes red twice. When the MFB button is blue, there is 10 hours of battery life remaining. There is also up to 13 days standby time, when you are not using your headset.
Does the charging cable come with the headset?
Yes, it is supplied within the pack for the BlueParrott C300-XT.
How do I charge the headset?
You can use the USB cord provided in the box to connect to an adapter or auto charger.
How long does it take to fully charge the headset?
A fully discharged battery will need approximately 3 hours to achieve a complete charge.
What is the wireless range from my mobile device?
You will get up to 100 metres of wireless range from your mobile device whilst on a softphone call or listening to music, providing there is a clear pathway between devices. This also depends of whether your device is Class 1. Please refer to your device manufacturer specifications to see whether your device supports Class 1 or Class 2.
How does the BlueParrott ButtonTM work?
The BlueParrott ButtonTM works together with the BlueParrott App (available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store). Through the app, the Parrott ButtonTM can be customised for features like mute (default), speed dial, launching an app on your phone or connect to push-to-talk apps allowing for instant communication between groups or just 1-to-1 at just the touch of a button.
Does my headset need updating?
Yes, just like any device, the BlueParrott C300-XT will be able to receive the latest features and functions by updating your headsets firmware via USB. You can update using the BlueParrott updater here.
Can I stream music to this device?
Yes. The BlueParrott C300-XT has A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) capabilities which allow for streaming audio other than call audio, e.g. music or GPS directions.
Can I pair this product with iPhone and Android devices?
Yes. The first time you turn on your BlueParrott C300-XT, it is ready to pair with your mobile phone via Bluetooth or NFC (One-Touch pairing for Android only). See the user guide for more details.
Does it work with Windows and Mac computers?
BlueParrott Bluetooth headsets are optimised to be used with other Bluetooth devices, such as, smartphones or tablets. They are not optimised to be used directly with a computer. We cannot guarantee device performance or provide support for performance problems that may result from this.
